ABOUT THE NEW E-BUSINESS XPERIENCE TECHNOLOGY (NEXT)
NEXT is the new e-business ecosystem that is based on a new technological tech stack. Since the beginning of the conception it was clear to us, that customer centricity must be the core of all developments in the implementation phase. Furthermore, the new tech stack is a cloud system which enables continuous releases of all the B2B functionalities. With the modular architecture of NEXT we are able to offer three different business models, that make the use of the new e-business ecosystem possible and valuable for all companies in the Würth Group.
THE THREE BUSINESS MODELS THAT CAN BE COVERED WITH NEXT
FROM B2B ONLINESHOP TO MARKETPLACE AND SUPPLIER - WHICH ONE IS BEST FOR YOU?
The Pure Online Shop business model is a customer centric onlineshop with B2B functionalities. All the important features that you currently have in Intershop will also be implemented in the new online shop based on our new technological e-business ecosystem. NEXT's Pure Online Shop is based on a clean and upgradeable core and convinces through e.g. the strip down of product hierarchy from five to three levels and the Wüth Group login as the central authentication provider. Therefore, with the Pure Online Shop business model you can continue to increase the growth - you have built up over the last few years - even faster in the new technological environment based on SAP Commerce Cloud.
This business model enables the onboarding of internal or external suppliers with the Mirakl Add-On that can be conntected to our modular architecture. As a consequence, the product portfolio can be extended and new customers can be developed. Furthermore, this will open up a new revenue stream through listing fees and commissions. Nevertheless, the introduction of a marketplace business model is not only an e-business project but also a company wide interdisciplinary project.
What is derived from the Full Scope Marketplace business model is the Supplier Model that can strengthen the online presence of smaller companies within the Würth Group that do not want to operate an own onlineshop but sell their products on a Würth operated marketplace. This results in online visibility and a new stream of sales. Therefore, NEXT is for everyone and independent of company size.
